I did a road ride with the Icknield RC. The ride out was very relaxing, avoiding all available hills and keeping the speed below 15mph. I punctured again. So at the cafe I felt like I'd hardly ridden at all with 28miles done. On the way back Tim and I raced up past Cardington hangars and I chose the hillyest route I could to get back to Barton cutting. We rode up Harlington Hill and then split up. All told 60 miles and I feel fine.

On the return the wind was picking up and I was starting to think maybe I've missed a good afternoon on the lake, but looking at the number of starts on here, maybe I didn't....

Fixed the front wheel squeak. Fulcrum 5s have a keeper plat over the needle roller bearing and it rubs and makes an annoying noise. So I packed it with grease and retightened the axle. Fingers crossed its OK now.
